If you don't like the degen of blood rage, get life leech and life regen from the tree. On HC you pretty much have to have 3-4% life regen

Blood rage is a pretty great source of added damage for anyone that can sustain it Also, check out our sister project on poe2wiki.net. For softcore, you can probably get away with just using the physical leech from blood rage to keep you alive
